WE CARE’s After School Mentoring and Tutoring Program supports student learning and social and emotional development as well as address educational failure and/or dropping out of school, health and wellness, family engagement and provide strong positive role models to enable the youth to achieve long-term self-sufficiency.

About Us

WE CARE of Pulaski County was founded over twenty-five years ago as a non-profit, tax-exempt organization whose primary purpose is to give hope and assistance to and promote the empowerment of the poor and disadvantaged. Specifically, to give the youth of the communities hope and direction; to assist the elderly in meeting their essential needs and to help single parents become independent and confident while providing for their families.

Our daily and monthly events

We Care’s summer program usually last from June 1 through August 12. Breakfast, lunch and a snack will be provided. It includes summer learning projects, field trips, cookouts and much more.

We distribute food baskets monthly – usually the third Friday of each month from 12:00 to 2:00pm. We provide grab and go meals for youth during the Fall and Spring month on Monday-Friday 4:00 to 5:00pm.
